When Great Lakes Finesse products were first introduced into the market, they made a finesse fishing wave so large it now cannot be stopped. Arguably one of the current leaders of the finesse game, Great Lakes Finesse is always trying to improve on new ways to make pressured fish bite, as well as turn those bites into fish catches. Made by anglers, for anglers, these baits are proven to catch fish, period.
New for 2025, they have revealed the new Micro Series of baits, a Terminal Wallet to hold all of your GLF products, as well as new colors to the Dropkick Shad line up.
The Micro Series

Big fish eat little baits everywhere you go. But when the bite is tough and downsizing doesn’t cut it, sometimes dropping down into the micro size is what you have to do to get bit. The Micro Series is essentially all of your favorite baits that Great Lakes Finesse offers, but in a much smaller, more compact size.
Great baits like the Drop Minnow, Juvy Craw, and Snack Craw as well as their Sneaky Underspin and Tube Head have all been transformed into smaller packages. These were designed to help in those pressured fish situations, as well as make for some killer perch and panfish baits.
The new introductions include:
2-inch Juvy Craw
- Natural Matte Finish
- Tear resistant, and floating material
- Designed to resemble juvenile crayfish
- Will behave similar to a small defenseless crayfish on the fall and when dragged/hopped along the bottom
Mini Micro Tube Head
- Designed to fish with 2” Juvy Craw
- 1/8 to 3/8 oz sizes
- Size 1 Gamakatsu Hook
- Unique head design will keep the tube and hook positioned up for less snags and better hookups plus give the tube a wider goby-like head profile
Micro Sneaky Underspin
- Size 1 Gamakatsu 604 90 degree hook
- All stainless components
- No chip powder coat paint and realistic eyes
- 3/32 to 3/16 oz sizes
- Known as the “Lake Vacuum” to us because it catches everything
2.25-inch Drop Minnow
- Neutrally Buoyant
- Tear resistant material
- Available in over 20 color options
- The smallest amount of movement in the bait will have the tail twitching like crazy
1.7-inch Snack Craw
- Floating lifelike material
- Matte finish
- Pairs perfectly with the GLF Ned Head and Stealth Ball Jig Heads in hook size 1
- When pulled forward on a jighead the claws push together and the bait slides away just like a real crayfish
- Available in 15 Colors
Like many anglers out there, I’ve used the original products. They are a tool I have come to rely on to put fish in the boat for myself as well as my clients. These baits have been a main part of my arsenal since the company’s creation. But these new, smaller versions will put more fish in the boat than ever before for all species. Some of these baits I can’t wait to try this fall when that young of the year baitfish start to grow a little larger. These will be killer for the fall perch bite as well.
Great Lakes Finesse Terminal Wallet
The Terminal Wallet is described by the GLF team as “the last terminal storage solution you’ll ever need,” and for good reason. This wallet is the perfect pouch to store not only all of your GLF products, but all of your hooks, jigheads and weights to be completely organized on the water. The key to being a successful angler is staying organized to maximize your time on the water. This wallet will do just that.
Features:
- Sized to fit all GLF terminal tackle and more
- Heavy duty nylon shell
- 48 waterproof 3.5 x 4.5-inch pockets
- Ideal for all types of terminal tackle to help you stay more organized
Anyone that knows me knows how much I love terminal tackle, but keeping it all organized is the most challenging part. You can try all you want to keep it in boxes which will eventually get rusty overtime, but there was never a great solution, until the creation of this wallet. This is going to make things way more efficient for me on the water, whether I’m fun fishing, in a tournament, or out guiding clients.
New Dropkick Shad Colors
When Great Lakes Finesse first came on the market, I think everyone wanted to know why a little swimbait wasn’t in the lineup. You just can’t have a finesse lineup without a small swimbait. Now that the Dropkick Shad is on the market, it’s making its name known as one of the most durable, action filled finesse swimbaits on the market. The bait came in many of the great GLF colors, but for 2025, four new colors were introduced into the lineup.
New 2025 Colors:
- 53 – Shiner
- 49 – Green Pumpkin Shad
- 40 – Goby
- 50 – Matte 309
These little swimmers put a hurting on the bass and the perch in my boat this past spring. I see them having continued success throughout our Finger Lakes, Lake Erie and the St. Lawrence River as it mimics a variety of prey items we have in those waters. The Matte 309 color has been the tried and true fish catcher in other baits in the GLF lineup, but that color in the Dropkick Shad is going to turn the heads of a lot of hungry bass, panfish and walleye.
Check out these new baits, colors and wallets from Great Lakes Finesse when you can. All of their products are a great addition to any tackle box, whether you’re a beginner or hardcore tournament professional. They are all fish catchers!
